The Michigan Equine Scholarship Fund is dedicated to encouraging and investing in qualified equine-involved youth by growing and offering assistance toward post-secondary education.
Criteria
Youth – defined as any person at any age through the end of their 20th year that has completed high school or the equivalent of such as a G.E.D.
Equine Organizations – to include a Michigan affiliated equine member organization such as 4-H, FFA, Quarter Horse Association, High School Rodeo, Draft Horse, Mule/Donkey, etc.
Involvement – The applying youth themselves must participate in the equine activity. Or, The applying child of an injured US Military Veteran who is undergoing Equine Assisted Therapy of any kind.
Membership - Must be an active member of an equine member organization or school affiliate. Membership requirement may not apply to the children of Veterans or the Veteran themselves.

The Michigan Equine Scholarship Fund is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Contributions are tax deductible as defined in the current Internal Revenue Code.
